My name is Aileen Bus, born in 1991 in Groningen, the Netherlands. I’m a self-taught photographer, learning from practice and the amazing people around me. I’m living and working in Groningen; the city I call home.
I graduated from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where I studied Information Science. In 2020 I started practicing portrait photography and fell in love with this field ever since. Still exploring my style up till today, but fascinated by honest and raw reflections of reality. My goal is to show the world the diversity of people and the beauty behind every single person. I’m not shy of denouncing our society norms and values. I invite you to explore this world with me.
